To access on-demand CLE module or check when the next live CLE session, attorneys may need to register first.
On-demand virtual CLE module (CLE-OM) consists of 90-minute program is offered entirely online. When the CLE-OM is combined with a live discussion, it becomes the Hybrid Module (CLE-HM), and it converts to 120-minute program.
The actual CLE credit hours vary from state to state with most states, including Iowa, use a 60-minute credit hour model while few states rely on a 50-minute credit hour model.
Certain programs may not receive credit in some states and there may be rules governing the maximum number of credit hours that may be earned with specific formats. Please consult with your state CLE regulatory entity for specific questions about CLE rules.
The program generally offered in spring semester, Religious and Cultural Competence, is a one hour sessionand has been approved for credit by Iowa Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education (Total CLE Hours Approved: 1; Diversity Hours Approved: 1). This approval means that time spent in continuing legal education activities incorporated in this accredited program may be credited against the continuing legal education requirement of fifteen (15) clock hours per year, established by Rules 41.3 and 42.2 of the Iowa Supreme Court.
